Well we already knew that the new iPhone would be launching on July 11th. What we did not know is what duration of the day it would be launching. Well, they guesses are coming in, and 6PM sounds like the winner. That is considering last year at launch day, the original iPhone launched at 6PM in Apple and AT&T stores across the nation.

The reason that they launched the

iPhone late in the day, is a story of preparation. Apple and AT&T stores will be keeping their doors closed all day on July 11th, so that they can be ready. There will be huge crowds again, and the stores are no doubt getting the stock ready. that is not confirmed yet, but as the day approaches, the details will surely come out.
